CWHI has completed delivery of all 30 transition pieces for the Inch Cape offshore wind farm following the load-out and departure of the final batch to the Port of Leith.
The company said the last 15 units were shipped in February 2026 aboard the COSCO vessel HUA XING LONG, building on the first batch delivered in November 2025.
CWHI added that it became the first supplier from China to deliver fully commissioned transition pieces, marking a significant industry milestone.
The company stated that production began in January 2025, with 18 of the 30 units fully released by October 2025 and safety milestones of 500,000, 1,200,000 and 1,800,000 hours reached during the programme.
Each transition piece stands up to 28 metres tall, has an outer diameter of 8.3 metres and weighs about 600 tonnes.
CWHI said the completion reinforces its role as a trusted global supplier of offshore wind foundation structures.
Tina Xu, chairwoman and chief executive of CWHI, said: “We celebrate the conclusion of our biggest Transition Piece project to date – a total of 30 TPs for Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm – all completed on schedule and delivered to the highest standards.”
Xu added that the milestone reflects strong collaboration across the company’s yards.
