Dajin Offshore has sign a spread of agreements with various sub suppliers to provide secondary elements for monopiles for the 1000MW Thor wind farm off the coast of Denmark being developed by RWE.
The Chinese manufacturer inked deals for internal platforms to be delivered by Wulkan Shipyard from Szczecin in Poland, electrical outfitting including installation from ProCon Wind Energy headquartered in Aalborg, Denmark, and concrete external working platforms from Polish subsidiary of Per Aarsleff A/S, Denmark.
The agreements follow Dajin’s contract signed in April 2023 to fabricate and transport 36 monopiles as well as secondary steel and electrical components for Thor.
It said it is also finalizing dialogue with other European suppliers for service cranes and boat landings.
