Danish company DBB Jack-Up Services has changed its name to Ziton, and plans to expand its services in the offshore wind turbine maintenance sector.
Together with the name change, Ziton also becomes independent from DBB group, which is based in Aarhus.
The new company currently owns three jack-up vessels – Wind, Wind Pioneer and Wind Server (pictured).
Ziton chief executive officer Thorsten Jalk said: “Operations and maintenance practices are becoming increasingly advanced, which means greater focus is needed.
“The ownership group decided, therefore, that the company would be more effective as a fully independent entity.
“Removing ‘Jack-up Services’ from the company name marks our readiness to further expand our scope of services.”
