The Danish Energy Agency will initiate a four-week idea phase consultation from 3 June to 1 July 2022 seeking views for the environmental impact report (EIA) for RWE’s Thor offshore wind project.
The 1000MW development is planned for approximately 22km from the west coast of Jutland off Thorsminde at Nissum Fjord.

Citizens, organisations, authorities and others who may be affected by the project can make suggestions on what should be included in the environmental impact report for the project.
RWE won the tender for the offshore wind project, which will be the German developer’s largest to date when it comes online in 2027.
