The first Vestas V112 3.3MW turbine has been installed at the 165MW Belwind 2 offshore wind farm off the coast of Belgium.
The project’s offshore substation has also been energised, according to Parkwind one of the investors in developer Nobelwind.
Belwind 2 will comprise a total of 51 turbines.
It is expected to be completed in the first half of 2017.
