Elia and the Port of Ostend have signed a concession agreement which covers the construction of a service centre for the TSO’s offshore activities.
The agreement marks the first step in the construction of a new multi-purpose building at the heart of the Belgium port.

Its location along the quay will be ideal for operations carried out at sea and it is due to be completed in 2025, Elia said.
The multi-purpose building will be an exemplar of sustainability, and addition to housing offices, the building will also include a visitor centre, the TSO added.
