Belgium transmission operator Elia is seeking companies for unexploded ordnance (UXO) work on the cable route of an offshore wind grid hub.
The work will consist of a survey, identification and removal of UXO from the cable route of the so-called modular offshore grid, according to the contract notice.
The contract would start on 2 April 2018 and run until 30 September that year.
Companies have until 17 July to register an interest in the contract.
The hub would create an export route for more than 1GW of projects including Rentel, Northwest 2, Mermaid and Seastar.
