Eneti has entered into an €288m contract with Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering for the construction of a wind turbine installation vessel.
The NG-16000X vessel, designed by GustoMSC, will be delivered early in the second quarter of 2025.

It will include a 2600-tonne leg encircling crane from Dutch manufacturer Huisman Equipment, Eneti said.
The vessel will be capable of installing up to 20MW turbines at water depths of up to 65 metres and can be adapted to operate on the alternate fuels of LNG or ammonia, the company added.
