The UK’s Planning Inspectorate has set the timetable for the assessment of ScottishPower Renewables’ 1.2GW East Anglia 3 wind farm off the Suffolk coast.
A preliminary meeting of the Panel of Examining Inspectors was held last month and has confirmed a 28 December deadline to complete assessment of the project.
As part of the process, SPR has been asked to submit a revised development consent order by this Wednesday.
The Planning Inspectorate has also issued a first set of questions to the developer which SPR must respond to by the 10 August.
SPR’s proposed East Anglia 3 features up to 172 turbines in an area of 305 square km in the northern portion of the EA zone.
The developer is currently working on a first phase 714MW wind farm which will feature Siemens 7MW turbine to be installed in 2019.
