The final turbine has been installed at Orsted and Eversource’s 132MW South Fork offshore wind project in the US.
“With the last turbine having been installed at South Fork Wind, commissioning work is ongoing and we are working toward full power,” a South Fork Wind spokesperson told renews.

Installation was performed by Van Oord using its jack-up Aeolus.
The scheme uses 12 Siemens Gamesa 11.0-200 DD machines, each with a capacity of 11MW.
According to a social media post from the project’s account on X on 20 February, the parts for the final turbine had departed from New London’s State Pier in Connecticut for the project site.
