The first Siemens Gamesa turbine has been installed at the 120MW Formosa 1 phase two offshore wind farm off Taiwan.
The project will feature 20 154-6MW machines and is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

Seajacks jack-up Zaratan is carrying out the installation in the Taiwan Strait.
Formosa 1 phase two is being developed by a partnership of Orsted (35%), JERA (25%), Macquarie Capital (25%) and Swancor Renewable Energy (15%).
