Statoil has towed the fifth and final Siemens 6MW turbine into position for its 30MW Hywind floating pilot project off Scotland.
The final machine was successfully towed into position in the Buchan Deep earlier this week, it is understood.
Anchor handling tug Normand Prosper will now hook each turbine up to the undersea cables which will export power to the grid.
The wind farm is expected to be fully commissioned by October.
