Associated British Ports is exploring establishing a major offshore wind manufacturing and assembly facility on the Cromarty Firth in Scotland Floating Offshore Wind 2023 will hear.
The port operator has signed an option agreement for a large parcel of land at Pitcalzean Farm adjacent to the existing Nigg Energy Park that would host the infrastructure development.
The deal clears ABP, which will outline its plans at FOW 2023, to carry out detailed investigations and local consultations for the proposal.
