EDF Energies Nouvelles has issued a tender for geotechnical investigations and associated services for its 24MW Provence Grand Large floating offshore wind farm in France.
According to the tender documents, the work will focus on “suction anchor geotechnical design” and consist of geotechnical samplings, including drop and gravity piston cores.
It will also involve offshore in situ testing, including piezo cone penetration tests, and associated services, such as laboratory testing and reports.
The contract is for 12 months for up to two organisations.
Interested parties have until 14 March to register an interest in participating in the project.
The Provence Grand Large project will be located off the coast of Marseille and will consist of three 8MW Siemens turbines.
