Dutch fabricator Heerema has loaded out the offshore substation jacket for Innogy’s 336MW Galloper wind farm off the Suffolk coast.
The jacket was loaded out at Heerema’s Hartlepool facility in the northeast UK.
Galloper is a joint equity partnership between Innogy UK, UK Green Investment Bank, Siemens Financial Services, Macquarie Capital and Sumitomo Corp.
The project will consist of Siemens 6MW turbines and is expected to start operating in March 2018.
