A consortium of European and Asian developers has pledged to set up a £100m fund to invest directly into the Scottish supply chain if bids in the 10GW ScotWind development rights race are successful.
The consortium, which has submitted several bids in the leasing exercise, is targeting the fund at existing offshore wind supply chain companies in Scotland with the aim of establishing new facilities.
