Offshore wind has a starring role to play as the UK strives to reach net zero, according to newly-appointed Energy Minster Greg Hands.
Making his first major address in his new role at GOW 2021, Hands said: “We are now only 32 days away from the start ofCOP26 where we will look to accelerate global action to tackle the climate crisis, and it is no exaggeration to say that offshore wind will be a linchpin in our efforts to reach net zero.”
