CDWE’s heavy lift vessel Green Jade has installed the first jacket foundation at the 1GW Hai Long offshore wind project off Taiwan.
The jacket’s installation has followed the completion of 111 out of 219 pin piles at the site.

Reaching this milestone is not only a major achievement for CDWE but also highlights the strength of the collaborative approach of all stakeholders involved, the company stated.
The Hai Long offshore wind project is located about 50 km off the coast of Changhua County.
The project will feature 73 14MW Siemens Gamesa turbines installed on jacket foundations.
Construction of the project officially kicked off in April of this year.
