Gulliver travels in China

Scaldis DP2 heavy lift vessel Gulliver has left Royal IHC’s shipyard in Qidong in China for a Huisman yard in the south of the country.

The 108-metre vessel will be equipped with two Huisman 2000-tonne cranes in the coming months at the yard, Royal IHC said.

Gulliver (pictured) is scheduled to be delivered to European waters in the spring of next year.

The vessel will deployed for a variety of offshore jobs, including renewables.
