Insolvency proceedings have been opened for German wind turbine manufacturer and wind farm operator Eno Energy, with provisional administrator Dr Christoph Morgen now seeking investors to secure the company’s future.
The Rostock District Court initiated proceedings on 7 October 2025 for Eno Energy GmbH and Eno Energy Systems GmbH, appointing Dr Morgen, a partner at Brinkmann & Partner, as provisional insolvency administrator.
He has already begun developing restructuring options and said the company’s immediate priority is to find investors for project development, wind farm construction and service operations.
“Our goal is to find investors for project development, wind-farm construction and the service business as quickly as possible in order to create prospects for all business areas and the associated employees,” Dr Morgen said.
The administrator added that several additional parties had already expressed interest. “Eno Energy has many years of experience in the development of wind farms and the construction and servicing of wind turbines,” he said. “Currently, Eno Energy is developing 54 wind farms, some of which already have approvals or are about to be granted. I am therefore confident that we will succeed in finding one or more investors for the various divisions of the company.”
The two companies employ about 280 people across sites in Rostock, Rerik, Hinrichsdorf and other locations. Pre-financing has been arranged to cover wages and salaries through November 2025.
Eno Energy continues to operate its wind farm development and service activities while investor discussions progress.
