Iver has acquired the service and maintenance activities of ENO Energy Systems in a move that expands its footprint in the German wind market.
The company said the deal provides it with an established base in Rostock, including offices, workshop and warehouse facilities, alongside several regional hubs.
It added that around 60 ENO Energy technicians and engineers will join the business, bringing specialist knowledge of multiple turbine brands.
“These are professionals who operate safely and professionally under all circumstances and bring a wealth of knowledge about the German market. Within Iver, they will be given the opportunity to develop further and create sustainable value for our customers,” said John van Soest, chief executive of Iver.
Germany-based managing director Geert Leeuwis stated that the expanded network strengthens operations in Europe’s largest wind market and supports both repowering and long-term turbine operation.
The acquisition also includes ENO Energy’s Remote Control Centre, enabling Iver to monitor turbines, analyse data and act quickly to minimise downtime.
Iver has offered new service and maintenance contracts to ENO Energy customers, delivered by the existing technician teams now integrated into the company.
Iver said its enlarged German platform provides greater regional coverage, faster response times and increased capacity in line with its international growth strategy.
