The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) is seeking a consultancy to carry out work for the country’s Offshore Renewable Energy Development Plan 2 (OREDP 2).
A tender has been issued for work on a Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) and Appropriate Assessment (AA) for OREDP 2.

The contract is valued at €250,000 and would be for 18 months, with one possible extension of up to 12 months.
SEAI said OREDP 2 is subject to an SEA and AA which aim to help appropriately shape and develop the plan and ensure that the sector can develop sustainably and minimise any impact on the environment.
Interested parties have until midday local time on 1 October to respond.
