GE Renewable Energy is working with NextEra Energy Resources to try ascertain what caused mechanical failure on two turbines at the 250MW Skeleton Creek wind farm in the US state of Oklahoma.
A spokesperson for GE Renewable Energy said: “We are working closely with the wind farm owner to ensure the safety of the impacted area and determine the root cause of the incident.”

Skeleton Creek started operations in December 2020.
It features 90 GE machines.
