Jan De Nul has taken delivery of the multi-purpose vessel Adhémar de Saint-Venant, ahead of deployment at Vattenfall’s 600MW Kriegers Flak offshore wind farm in Denmark.
Jan De Nul and Iemants have been contracted to provide two offshore substation foundations for the project’s grid link.
Jan De Nul is in charge of design, construction, transport and installation of the foundations, while lemants is taking care of detailed design, fabrication and transportation of the steel shafts and decks to be placed on top.
Adhemar de Saint-Venant (pictured) and Jan De Nul’s backhoe dredger Gian Lorenzo Bernini will carry out excavation of the foundation pit and installation of the gravel bed.
