Jan De Nul’s Vole au Vent vessel has arrived at the site of the Calvados offshore wind farm to begin installing foundations at the 450MW site off France.
Prior to the drilling campaign, the 140 metre-long and 41 metre-wide vessel will check the proper functioning of the drilling machine in the area of the wind farm.

A consortium comprising EDF Renewables, EIH (a subsidiary of Enbridge and CPP Investments) and Skyborn Renewables, is developing the Calvados offshore wind farm.
It will consist of 64 wind turbines located more than 10 km off the coast of Bessin and commissioning is expected in the third quarter of 2025.
