Jan De Nul has secured a contract from Vattenfall to supply a vessel to support turbine installation at the 605MW Kriegers Flak offshore wind farm off Denmark.
The scope covers transport and supporting the turbine contractor, according to the contract notice.

Kriegers Flak will feature 71 Siemens Gamesa 8.4-167 machines installed on monopile foundations supplied by EEW and transition pieces built by Bladt Industries.
Van Oord is contracted to install the foundations starting in May next year.
