UK companies JDR and Tekmar Energy have signed a partnership agreement to collaborate on technology and engineering projects in the offshore wind sector.
The companies said the agreement “cements an already close working relationship” on several offshore projects.
These projects include Wind MW’s 288MW Meerwind offshore wind farm, Dong Energy’s 580MW Race Bank development and Eon’s 400MW Rampion project, both in the UK.
JDR chief operating officer Richard Turner said: “This agreement with Tekmar allows us to work differently, beyond the barriers of a traditional transactional supplier relationship.
“It will allow us to develop synergies which will better serve the needs of our end users.”
Tekmar Energy provides subsea cable protection, while JDR is a subsea cable specialist.
