Orsted has contracted South Korean fabricator HSG Sundong Shipbuilding to supply foundations for the 920MW Greater Changhua 2b and 4 offshore wind farms.
The signing ceremony featured speeches from Danish Ambassador Svend Olling, Orsted Korea Country Manager Seung-Ho Choe, project development director Jonas Solhøj, and HSG Sungdong CEO Jinsang Lee.

Orsted has taken the final investment decision (FID) for the Taiwanese project in March, with a timeline for completion by the end of 2025.
TSMC will be off-taker for the full production from the new wind farm.
