Lamprell has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with RTE international to collaborate on offshore wind high-voltage transmission system projects.
The agreement establishes a non-exclusive framework for cooperation on future offshore wind engineering, procurement, construction and installation HV transmission system wrap opportunities, the companies said.
They added that the approach integrates engineering, procurement, construction and installation activities for high-voltage export cable systems connecting offshore wind farms to onshore grids.
Under the memorandum, the companies will combine expertise in offshore structures, subsea installation and high-voltage transmission systems.
The partnership aims to develop integrated solutions for future offshore wind projects.
