Marlow Offshore and SeaZip Offshore Service have launched a joint venture, MarZip Offshore Personnel, to provide a single point of contact for offshore wind recruitment.
Stephan Nunnink will manage Netherlands-based MarZip Offshore Personnel, which will provide qualified professionals in all areas of offshore wind, including planning and inspection, technicians and electricians, vessel coordination and health and safety.
In the joint venture Marlow Offshore, a subdivision of the global Marlow Navigation Group, will contribute the required recruitment and staffing skills.
Harlingen-based SeaZip Offshore Service, which works on offshore wind projects, is responsible for maritime and logistic support.
Nunnink said: “Thanks to our active involvement in the offshore world and knowledge of the operational processes, we know how to screen staff for each project and vacancy.
“We provide both capacity and flexibility; we supply exactly that which the offshore energy industry needs, no matter the project phase concerned.”
