Mingyang Smart Energy has announced that it has won bids from Chinese power company CGN to provide turbines for the Fanshiyi offshore wind farm.
The company will provide fifty units for two sections of the project totalling 700MW of Fanshyi’s 1GW capacity.

This will also see the debut of Mingyang’s MySE 14-260 offshore wind turbines, the latest upgrade to the MySE 12-242, when they are delivered in the third quarter of 2023.
The wind farm will be located in Yangjiang, Guangdong, 60km off the coast and has an average water depth of 40-48 metres.
