MPI has completed the upgrade to the wind turbine installation vessel MPI Resolution, which has had its six jack-up legs extended.
The work took place over a 60-day period, with a peak of 50 personnel involved.
The upgrade will allow the vessel to carry out jacking operations in up to 35 metre water depths, including allowances for leg penetration and air gap.
During the work, MPI Resolution was jacked-up to a height of 25 metres, with access from the quay provided by two temporary erected stair towers.
