Ocean Winds has installed half of the 62 jacket foundations at its 500MW Dieppe-Le Tréport offshore wind project in France.
The company said 20 additional foundations have been installed since February, adding to the initial dozen already in place 17 kilometres offshore.

Ocean Winds added that installation works are progressing with support from Navantia Seanergies, Windar Renovables, Port de Cherbourg and DEME Group.
The project is expected to generate enough electricity to power around 850,000 people annually once operational.
