OWC has been awarded the cable engineering package for the 560MW Green Volt floating wind farm off the east coast of Scotland.
The scope covers offshore export and inter-array cables as well as onshore works from the landfall near Aberdeen to a substation.
OWC said its Scotland-based team will manage the assignment, which is due to be completed later this year.
Green Volt is being developed by Flotation Energy and Vårgrønn and will deliver power to both oil and gas platforms and the UK grid.

The consultancy has supported Green Volt since May 2023 across more than 15 project roles including WTG package management, certification, metocean studies, CfD requirements and port assessments.
