PGE and Orsted will host workshops next month for the over 2500MW Baltica 2 and 3 offshore wind farms off Poland.
The developers will host events on 22 April for companies wishing to become suppliers to the two projects in the Polish part of the Baltic Sea.
Within the framework of the planned workshops, representatives of the investors will present, among other things, the schedule of the investment and the ongoing and planned purchase procedures regarding the main components for the execution of Baltica 2 and 3.
These include the equipment for exporting power from the projects, as well as the general principles of contracting within the procedures and schedules, and the tools used in the contracting process.
The 1045MW Baltica 3 is planned to be operational for 2026, with the 1498MM Baltica 2 to be commissioned in 2027.
Both projects have location decisions, connection agreements to the transmission network with the operator, have received the right to a Contract for Difference (CfD) and have a joint environmental decision.
