Edgen Murray and South Korean company SeAH have completed 84 pin piles for the 110MW Changhua phase one offshore wind farm off Taiwan.
The work was carried out for Jan De Nul, which is the lead foundations contractor on the project.
Each pin pile has a diameter of three metres, is up to 82 metres long and weighs about 310 tonnes, Edgen Murray said.
The company added that load out is scheduled to be completed next month.
Earlier this month, Jan Den Nul said that fabrication of the wind farm’s 24 jacket foundations was well underway.
The first four units are to be shipped from the Samkang shipyard in South Korea next month to the port of Taichung in Taiwan.
The foundations will then be transported to their final destination off the coast of Fangyuan for installation.
Taipower is developing the wind farm.
