UK offshore wind consultancy Quaybridge provided the development team for 3GW out of nearly 8GW of capacity awarded to preferred bidders in the UK’s Round 4 leasing.
Crown Estate finalised its decision on 8 February.
Quaybridge said it is “delighted” by the chosen preferred bidders in the process, having provided a package of cross-disciplinary support including site identification, engineering design, consenting advice, grid assessment and tactical analysis.
Quaybridge project director Colin Morgan said: “All of the hard work our team has put in over the last 3 years with our strategic partners has paid off, the Round 4 result is highly gratifying.
“It shows what can be achieved when learnings from Rounds 1, 2 and 3 are brought together in a truly integrated approach to offshore wind project development.
“This next generation of projects is just the start for Quaybridge as we apply our approach to the ScotWind process.”
Quaybridge is finalising a bid into the ScotWind leasing round, working with “strategic partners”.
