Iberdrola-owned Ailes Marines has announced the end of the drilling and sealing of the piles of the 496MW Saint-Brieuc offshore wind farm in France.
All 62 positions for the wind turbines and the electrical substation were drilled and equipped with piles by the Van Oord’s Aeolus vessel.

In addition, as of August 25, 35 8MW wind turbines manufactured in Le Havre by Siemens Gamesa have been installed.
The installation of the jacket foundations restarted at the end of June and, to date, 51 jackets have been installed.
The wind farm has been producing green electricity since 6 July 2023.
