Saipem has completed fabrication of 32 jacket foundations for Jan de Nul for the Formosa 2 offshore wind farm off Taiwan.
The fabrication was a first for Saipem and was carried out at its Karimun yard in Indonesia.

Saipem said last of the jackets has been loaded out and handed over for transportation and installation in Taiwan.
Installation will be carried out by Jan de Nul.
Formosa 2 is being developed by a partnership between Macquarie’s Green Investment Group, Swancor Renewable Energy and Jera, off Miaoli County on the west coast of Taiwan.
