Danish outfit Scada Minds, which provides software solutions to the wind industry, has opened its first office in Germany in Hamburg.
The German base will led by Stefan Wichmann and Mo Siddiqui, both new partners in the company.
Wichmann was previously with Otto Group, while Siddiqui has wind energy experience and has worked in sales and with start-up companies.
Siddiqui said: “The Scada Minds family has grown with the addition of the Hamburg office. We are proud to contribute to making Hamburg a leading location for innovation in Europe.
“I’d like to thank the team at Hamburg-Invest for their support in helping us bring our innovative solutions, and advanced software and cybersecurity consultancy to Hamburg and be closer to our German customers.”
Renewable Energy Hamburg managing director Jan Rispens said: “We are extremely pleased to welcome Scada Minds in our already tightly knit renewable energy community in Hamburg. Digitalisation is core to further wind energy development, so we look forward to co-operating together on this focus area.”
