Scottish company PanGeo Subsea is to carry out an unexploded ordinance (UXO) survey at an unnamed North Sea offshore wind farm project.
The survey will cover 18 square km across the sites for the export and inter-array cables and offshore platforms.
PanGeo Subsea said it will use its Sub Bottom Imager (SBI) for investigation of depths up to six metres.
The SBI can reduce the amount of potential targets identified in earlier magnetometer surveys by up to 75%, PanGeo said.
