SeaRoc Group has deployed a communications and logistic data system for Dong Energy at its 573MW Race Bank offshore wind farm off the UK’s east coast.
The solution uses SeaRoc’s marine management software system and containerised equipment.
It has been fully operational since July 2016 with communications and status updates being received at one of Dong’s operations and logistics centre over a satellite link.
The data provides real-time visibility of site activity, vessel and helicopter tracking as well people tracking, SeaRoc said.
