Siem Offshore and Seaway 7, the Renewables business unit of Subsea 7, have entered into a contract for an undisclosed offshore wind project in the Far East.
The project will utilise the offshore construction vessel Siem Barracuda, currently mobilising to the area of operation, for a minimum period of 100 days, excluding options.

The company has carried out more than 200,000 personnel transfers at sea since its early entrance to the offshore wind market.
Siem Offshore said that its presence in the “mature” offshore wind markets elsewhere in the world has resulted in it being a preferred partner for its clients globally.
