Spanish outfit Euskalforging has won a contract from Sif to provide 16 flanges for the foundations for EnBW’s 112MW Albatros offshore wind farm in the German North Sea.
The project will consist of 16 Siemens SWT-7.0-154 turbines to be installed on monopile foundations.
Sif will produce the monopiles, while its joint venture with Smulders will produce the transition pieces.
Euskalforging already has a contract to provide flanges for the 497MW Hohe See wind farm, which will be located close to Albatros.
