Spanish fabricator Tecade has loaded out the first transition pieces for the 950MW Moray East offshore wind farm, which will be located off the coast of Scotland.
Two TPs have been loaded out at the company’s facilities at the Port of Seville.

The structures are being sent to Navantia’s yard in Puerto Real, where assembly with the upper part of the jacket will take place.
In total, 20 TPs will be assembled before transport to Newcastle in England to complete assembly.
Tecade said up to 350 people are being employed to carry out the work.
Manufacture of the remaining TP’s continues in the Port of Seville, it added.
