Spanish company Tecade has been contracted by compatriot company Haizea Wind Group to provide access platforms and boat landings for the 30MW Taranto offshore wind farm off the coast of south-east Italy.
The contract covers provision of 10 external access platforms, 10 airtight platforms and 10 boat landings to the project.

Haizea is fabricating the 10 monopile foundations for the wind farm, which is being developed by a group led by Renexia.
Taranto will feature Senvion hardware and is slated to come online next year.
