ST3 Offshore has issued a third tender looking for a buyer as bankruptcy proceedings at the company continue.
The troubled Polish offshore wind turbine foundation manufacturer has knocked a further 10 per cent off its asking price, which now sits at 187,744,000 PLN (€41.3 million).
Its yard at Szczecin near the German border covers an area of 220,000 square metres and includes a 100,000 square metre fabrication hall and riverfront quay for loading out components.
ST3 first went up for sale in February with the local court officially declaring the company bankrupt at the end of March.
The company considers the current price to be 20% less than its actual value, after 10 per cent was removed from the asking price at the second tender in March.
The company’s last fabrication job before hitting financial difficulties was 20 suction bucket jackets for Orsted’s 450MW Borkum Riffgrund 2 project off Germany in 2018.
Interested parties must submit a written bid in Polish by 21 May.
