Global Maritime Consultancy & Engineering has been awarded a master services agreement by Statoil covering offshore work including wind farms.
The services covered in the agreement include platform technology and safety studies, marine verification and warranty surveys.
The new deal replaces several previous frame agreements between the two companies, Global Maritime said.
The consultancy has previously carried out marine warranty surveys for the 30MW Hywind Scotland and 402MW Dudgeon offshore wind farms for Statoil.
Global Maritime Consultancy & Engineering chief executive David Sutton said: “This is an endorsement of the work Global Maritime has carried out for Statoil over the last few years.”
The consultancy provides marine warranty, dynamic positioning and engineering services to the offshore sector.
