Steel River Quay has entered into a three-year agreement with Tusk Lifting for lifting equipment supply and LOLER inspection services.
The companies said the partnership follows Steel River Quay’s rapid growth and expansion, supported by deep-water port facilities, heavy-lift capabilities and large laydown areas.
Steel River Quay has also invested in Tusk Pro to streamline inspection, management and tracking of lifting equipment across the Quayside and multiple project sites.
According to the company, the investment reinforces a commitment to safety, quality and operational excellence.
Steel River Quay head of operations Craig Garbutt said “We are delighted to partner with Tusk Lifting as a preferred supplier. Their support from the outset of our startup, along with their responsiveness, customer service and flexibility, makes them an ideal partner. We look forward to the journey ahead.”
Tusk Lifting business development director Scott Brown said “We’ve been working closely with the Steel River Quay management team since late 2023 to understand their operational needs and long-term goals. This agreement marks a key milestone and demonstrates a shared commitment to safety, reliability and innovation.
“We’re proud to support such a dynamic company at the heart of the River Tees.”
The partnership will see Tusk Lifting provide lifting equipment, LOLER inspections and asset management solutions to support Steel River Quay’s growth as a hub for offshore wind and renewable energy infrastructure on the River Tees.
