Semar and Dof Subsea have successfully completed installation of all 19 wind turbine suction anchors for Equinor’s 88MW Hywind Tampen wind farm offshore Norway.
The installation was carried out with the Skandi Skansen vessel.

Semar’s seafastening system worked efficiently during every load-out, the company said.
This design is based on a non-welding concept utilizing bolted connections during loading and unloading offshore.
Installation work started at the end of March.
The wind farm will feature 11 Siemens Gamesa 8MW turbines.
It is scheduled to be operational at the end of 2022.
